Minnie
Mouse was created Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. Both Minnie and Mickey were first drawn in 1928 by Ub Iwerks.
In many appearances, Minnie is presented as the girlfriend of Mickey Mouse. She is also a close friend to Daisy Duck; Donald Duck's wife (or girlfriend); and occasionally a friend to Clarabelle Cow. Minnie's sister, Mandie Mouse was a recurring character early
on. Her main outfit usually includes a polka dot bow,
white gloves and a short dress. Minnie
first appeared in Plane Crazy in which she is invited go with Mickey in the
first flight of his plane.
